Loft Conversion Timeline 

Before Work Commences

• Scaffold to Erect
• Skip to Arrive

Week 1

• Access in Roof Created
• R.S.J.'s installed for floors & dormers
• Structural timbers start to go in and be weathered to prevent leaks

Week 2

• Structural floors and walls are built
• Tanks moved if necessary
• Windows added

Week 3/4

• 1st Inspection from Building Inspector
• First fix of eletrics and plumbing
• Floors laid
• Stairs put into place

Week 5/6

• Insulation fitted
• Walls plastered

Week6/7

• Doors, Skirting and Architive added
• Stair Spindels added
• Second Electrical and plumbing fix

Week 8

• Finishing Touches
• Final building inspector visit
